Shipping Policy

Thank you for your interest in Alligator King - in business since 1990 and online since 2001!

We ship orders on weekdays as they come in. Typically, orders take a couple of days to process in our warehouse. We require your email and phone number so you can receive shipping notifications and tracking information automatically. This will help us too if we need to get in touch about your order. FedEx and UPS are our preferred shipping carriers.

If you need expedited shipping, we need to know that right away when you place your order. Please select a guaranteed shipping option like UPS 2-day AND please add a note in the "Order Notes" section or send an email including the date by which you need your items, so we can be sure to accommodate your request. Please note, that for instance, UPS Ground is a standard shipping option and does not offer a guaranteed shipping date. Though it might say 2 days to deliver via. UPS Ground, choosing that option does not stand out as needing expedited handling in our warehouse.

Please note that we are unable to ship our products outside the USA or to APO addresses.

Occasionally, our shipping package does a poor job of calculating an appropriate shipping rate, especially when an order requires more than one box. In addition, for orders over $100, we will add the appropriate amount to cover costs of insurance and signature delivery. We will be in touch and will to need send an invoice to cover these costs once we are finished processing and packing your order.

Some of our products are fragile and may be one-of-a-kind. We strongly suggest you purchase our inexpensive insurance to protect your package from loss or damge while in the hands of the carrier.

Also, due to the rising incidence of porch pirates, please be sure to give us a secure location for your delivery. Unfortunately, packages that are lost after delivery are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. Recently, we had a carrier take a package to a secure location rather than deliver to our customer's home due to concerns about this problem. Be aware and please help us be sure you get your order from Alligator King by giving us a secure location for your delivery!
